the about page

Ah, the about page, also known as "the one behind the keyboard.  This page is meant to tell about myself, because for some reason people always like to know about the person typing all of the text on this page.  Lets get started.

First of all, as you have seen from the photo of the person with the Ninjato resting upon his shoulder blades, I collect swords, about twelve to be exact.  Each as different as the next.  I have an array of Europian double bladed, to Japanese single bladed back swords.  I have one Ninjato and one Ninjaken.

the Likes

I have many likes that I have taken to in the past years before this year.  I have taken up a few instruments.  I have discovered so much amazing and beautiful music through the glory of freeware mp3's.  I am a lover of Highland and Celtic music, any type.  I have mastered the Ocarina, and I hope to master the Irish Whistle, Irelands unique instrument.  Though Ocarina holds a very special place in my heart, for there is no song that I cannot play with the Ocarina unless the tempo of the song is too high.  The Ocarina is truly a beautiful woodwind instrument that is not recognized like it should be.  The main problem is that people have been brainwashed with the lie that a high quality instrument has to be very expensive and have a thousand parts.  The truth of the matter like with high quality made guitars is that in order for an instrument to have the right sound, the construction has to be right, not the money. My Ocarina may be made of plastic, but it's construction is right, so it's sound is truly unique and undeminished. It is an amazing worship instrument, and I often play it in worship services that I attend on a weekly basis.

I have collected, studied, and have learned about how swords are made.  As I have learned about their construction, it has opened my spiritual eyes even further as to how similiar our Christian walk is to a sword being forged.  I practice often with a a Wakazashi, my Ninjato and Ninjaken, and my Europian longsword  I am always perfecting my technique and learning about the way a sword moves with the human body.  It is so much fun too, and it builds muscle, while providing a very healthy workout.(Take that Jenny Craig.)
